New!
Look
for the green New sign
next to materials that have been recently added to the directory. A lot has
been added! If you need to visit an unfamiliar worship service, check out How to Be a Perfect Stranger in the
Ecumenical/World Religions section; if you’re
looking for some good material on mission and missionaries, look at Windows on Mission in Outreach
and information on the Millennium Development Goals in the same place. Working
with youth? Faithtalk in the
Family section or Deep
Ministry in a Shallow World from the Youth
Leaders’ material may help. And there’s a lot more. Browse the directory
and find many new items to help you and your congregation!

Christian
Formation for Adults
Christian
formation is a lifelong process; it begins when we are baptized and ends-or is
transformed-when we are buried. Christian formation as an adult takes place in
many ways and in many venues. An adult chaperoning a busload of youth to the
National Acolyte Festival may experience formation as may a person attending a
small group Bible study; the latter, however, is more purposeful. To find a
variety of ways to engage in Adult Christian Formation click here
If your church has curriculum or
other resources, library books, or videos you’re willing to share through the
Ministries Resource Center, please contact me at mpbash@ameritech.net. Thank you.
