This interview with Jackson is part of a series from Trinity Wall Street that looks at faith, business, politics, and social action. Jackson’s interview looks at not only racism but also the question of poverty and helping  those on the lowest rungs begin to overcome poverty and lack of opportunity. 22 min.

Living in Color – Randy Woodley, InterVarsity Press, Downers Grove IL; 2001

Woodley, part Native American, believes God created diverse cultures and races out of His love for variety and so that we could learn from one another; he gives many familiar Bible stories new interpretations through this view and makes very interesting points about living together. He includes a lot of history about racial interactions, primarily about the white-Native American interactions, but he also refers to other racial situations. He gives some very practical insights as well regarding ways we can relate to one another with sensitivity. His is an interesting perspective, and the book comes with a study guide for groups as well.
