Own Forever – Mary Lee Wile, Living the Good News, Denver CO; 2003 (2 copies) This new resource looks at preparing
parents and Godparents for Baptism beyond just telling them where to stand
and what to say on the big day! It gives them some understanding of the
history and background of baptism, the “theology” of baptism, and then
discusses how to carry out the vows that have been made. It includes a
Leader’s Guide and a guide/journal for the parents and/or Godparents, both
with a fairly extensive bibliography for further study. An excellent
Episcopal resource for Baptismal preparation! |
