This pamphlet answers the frequently asked questions about establishing and developing a health ministry in a congregation. It is straightforward with information about who to contact for more information.

God in the Flesh – Jean Denton, Morehouse Publishing, Harrisburg PA; 2005

 The book provides background information, theology, and poetry to help us understand the need for paying attention to the physical needs and health of our congregations as well as the spiritual needs. There are essays by several different authors, and each chapter has reflective/discussion questions for individuals and for groups. The appendix includes a bibliography and a list of websites to visit on this topic.

This guide, put together by several health care organizations in the state, shows how to select nursing home care, gives a checklist for visiting a place, talks about paying, and then lists by county all the homes throughout the state. A significant help to those seeking long term care for a loved one.
